How is GPSSA Pension Calculated?

The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) calculates retirement pensions for UAE nationals in the private sector using the following formula:

Pension = Basic Salary × Pension Percentage
Where: Pension % = 48% at 15 years + 2% for each additional year

Example: Basic salary AED 20,000 with 20 years of service:
Pension = 20,000 × 58% = AED 11,600/month
